New Member Spotlight

New members Bob & Linda Goff from Lavonia joined at the Fall Pony Round Up. Bob has been involved with Mustangs or Cougars one way or another for most of his life. If you have been around to any cruise-in event or show, you probably ran into Bob or saw one of the many cars he restored-modified and then sold after tiring of it. I have one of them. His current car is a standard 72 fast back that he has modified to look like a Mach 1. He replaced the tired 302 2V with a modified 351C 4V. A large cam, headers, and ignition upgrades to the engine with a 5 speed for gas mileage to come real soon.  A fresh coat of Grabber Green metallic paint, reproduction interior and 17” Magnums complete the package. He added Mach 1 stripes and some personalized decals that say 351 HO. He calls it his “green ho”. Currently Bob is working on a 68 Cougar that he is modifying with a 351w, performance suspension, 5- speed, 4 wheel disc brakes, air conditioning and upgraded interior. Bob and Linda have 2 boys. Robbie who is married with 2 children and Anthony who still lives at home.
