The Northeast Georgia Mustang Club (NEGMC) is Chartered by the Mustang Club Of America as a regional club covering all or portions of the Georgia Counties: Walton, Banks, Jackson, Barrow, Jasper, Forsyth, Hall, Occonee, Stephens, Franklin, Lumpkin, Madison, Clarke, White, and Habersham. The club meets on the third Sundays of each month at different locations throughout the region covered by our charter. Each fall we held a show in Cherokee, NC which had become a tradition for 33 years. Last year, we moved the show to Maggie Valley because we had outgrown our old site in Cherokee. The new facility proved to be a good choice as we had 200 cars for our 34th show. In addition to the Maggie Valley Show, we hold a spring and fall cruise in-show at Mustangs Unlimited in Lawrenceville, GA. Once again the annual trek to the Pensacola show happened this year. David Osborn, Jeff & Debra Ramey, Chris & Susan Agee, and David & Sherry Johson made the trip. As usual there were many vendors and a couple god some money from David & Chris. Jeff bought a couple things for his 66. The usual Seafood Resturant trips happened and we got our fill. When Sunday came around theawards were handed out and we all carried a piece of glass home. Chris got a Gold for each of his 2 customer cars he brought, David O got a 1st, Jeff & Debra and David J. each took 2nd awards. Check out the photos in the Photo Albums.
Next Meeting
The July meeting will be a breakfast meeting at the Dillard House on July 19th. For those who would like to caravan, we will meet at The QT/Regions Bank in Oakwood at the intersection of Interstate 985 and GA 53. I-985 exit 16. Club Caravan June 13th
Well, the cruise happened and we had an uneventful trip to Calhoun to attend the Cherokee Regional Mustang Club show. The drive was easy and had some beautiful scenery. 7 Mustangs caravaning through the mountains turned a lot of heads. Rick & Cher Hayslip, Jeff & Debra Ramey, Bill & Sue Howell, David & Sherry Johnson, Tom Longerbeam, John Lipton and Jamie and Jordan Brown made the trip. When the show was over, the club had taken 3 awards. The awards were a real cool distressed looking tin sign. Check out the photos in the Club Photo Albums section.
